Course Highlights
Our courses are opened by the Department of Electronics and Electrical Engineering and the four associated institutions with 132 faculties, including 91 professors, 26 associate professors, 13 assistant professors, and 2 lecturers. The field of studies covers almost all topics in ECE professions. The undergraduate study roadmap for the featured study areas is summarized as follows.

1. Lecture courses
There are three types of lecture courses: fundamental required courses, major compulsory courses, and related elective courses. The required courses for the Honors Program are English-medium courses by default, helping students adapt the studying abroad during their junior or senior year. Moreover, the credit transfer for the Honors Program follows “The Regulations of Inter-Collegiate Course Taking in NYCU.”

2. Laboratory courses
The Department of Electronics and Electrical Engineering of NYCU is known for its solid hands-on training. Aside from the required electronics labs, we provide 18 professional laboratory courses for undergraduates, who must take at least two before graduation. The laboratory courses include Digital Lab, Principle of Microcomputer, Communication Networks Lab, Communication System Lab, Computer Simulation of Communication Systems, Principles and Lab. of RF Circuits, Digital Signal Processing Chips Lab, Control Lab, Power Electronics Lab, Biomedical Engineering Lab, Human-Centric Computing Lab, Intelligent Robotics Lab, VLSI Lab, Semiconductor Lab, Integrated Circuit Lab, Embedded System Lab, Device and Circuit Characterization Lab, and IC Design Lab. We provide the highest amount of laboratory courses among all ECE departments in Taiwan.
